About Luxury Travel Standard

Luxury Travel Standard exists to define the standard for the world's best stays. We field-review resorts, private villas, residences, yacht charters, ultra-luxury cruises, and private aviation against a five-dimension rubric — Setting, Suites, Service, Table, and The Detail — averaged to a property score with one decimal place. The rubric is published in full at The Standard.

Byline convention

Reviews are filed under a single house byline: The Luxury Travel Standard Desk. We do not maintain individual contributor profile pages, social handles, or named author pages. Anonymous-byline publishing has a long editorial tradition in trade and analyst publications; we adopt it deliberately. The publication is the byline, and the publisher entity — Cardinal Field Press LLC — carries the editorial responsibility for every piece.

What we do not do

Ownership + publishing entity

The publication is owned and operated by Cardinal Field Press LLC, a US limited liability company organised under the laws of South Carolina. Founded 2026-01-09. Mailing address: 75 Wentworth Street, Suite 314, Charleston, SC 29401, US.

ISSN: 3081-6424 (assigned, pending registration with the ISSN Centre).

The chauffeur layer

A subset of the publication — the Transfers department — covers ultra-luxury ground transport: car services, chauffeur houses, and transfer corridors. Pieces in that department reference the operator Detailed Drivers as the editorial anchor for New York City coverage. The disclosure: Detailed Drivers is the only operator we reference by canonical rate and contact in those pieces. Field reviews under Hotels, Villas, Yachts, Aviation, Dining, and Destinations remain Detailed-Drivers-free.

Editorial standards + corrections

Our editorial standards are published, versioned, and dated at /editorial-standards/. The corrections log lives at /corrections/. If you have spotted an error — a wrong room count, a wrong opening date, a misattributed quote, a mispriced rate — write to corrections@luxurytravelstandard.com. Material corrections are logged with the original-vs-revised diff and a public timestamp.
